WHAT WE DO

Undersea projects have become increasingly diverse and complex as technology and requirements have changed. Coastal, port and harbor security requires the ability to work in challenging undersea and acoustic environments. This has created the need for highly sophisticated ocean engineering to meet the requirements of undersea and maritime security sensor projects.

Sound & Sea Technology (SST) was established in March, 1999 to meet the need for experienced, senior-level expertise in ocean engineering for a broad range of undersea and coastal protection projects. This specialized capability is often critical to the success of projects that include an undersea component. Since its inception, Sound and Sea has completed more than 50 successful projects, including design and installation of both military and commercial undersea sensor, range, cable and protection systems.

SST provides a complete range of engineering and installation services for undersea projects. We maintain close professional and personal contacts with engineering, design, fabrication and installation organizations throughout the world, resulting in a unique ability to bring both commercial and government experience to a project.

Since 2002, SST has been awarded approximately $30M of government contracts and subcontracts covering nearly 200 individual tasks.
